inspired by a vivid dream about being with Aurora and Cristian Roman at Castelul Huniarzilor, it was a a lookout tower, far ... you had to cross a bridge to get the best view. I felt like it was definately Transylvania, our Lands. Aurora and Cristian stood back, I had to walk the bridge alone. In my drawing I put two figures, I wanted to enjoy the view with ... some loved one. If any for me ...

i looked up after all the towers in the Castle ... (didnt work there though) ... and I found it ! The Most Remote, Wild of them all ... NE BOISA ! , Serbian for "Dont be afraid!"

  A “Troița” is a Romanian shrine, dedicated to maintain faith in the utmost parts of the countryside, where a church cannot be built. A small symbol, usually carved in wood or stone that reminds you of another man that was there before you, recomforting you on your way and that unknown forces, holy spirit is with you. Your spirit calms down as its soothing effect enters your body, relaxing your anxiety or despair that you are lost on your trail. That you have lost your way. Why the Devil blog ?

why the Devil blog ? ...   The name started from a fun word-play that came out after researching 666 as a benefical number in our ancient culture, an interesting twist for what is mostly known as evil. Indeed, as romanian language is rich in polysemantic words so does "Devil" has multiple meanings. At the same time it may mean evil, wicked (in a good way), clever, fast-minded, seductive or attractive even or a heavy machine used for taking tree trunks out of the earth while deforestation. I loved the idea of deforestation in the abstract meaning of cleaning or cleansing, purifying as a reset. And because the whole idea of Atelierul din Hamac (which translates to the Workshop from the Hammock) had its roots in my philosophical and political tendencies of mixing relaxing with thinking or having a think-tank at the end of the working week ... I thought the deforestation / purifying of ideas will fit perfectly for what I think it is a key in evolution, debate and question everyth...

Călușarii : Ritual, Magie și Vindecare

  "folclorul este oxigen pentru un popor astmatic" - Subcarpați Călușarii : Ritual, Magie și Vindecare În vremuri demult apuse pe când familia spunea că “nu se mai poate face nimic” sau “nu ne mai facem bine”, nu se mergea la psihiatru și nici la medic (dacă exista în zonă). Ci se chemau ... Călușarii. Magicienii satului. Voie bună, adică. Căci ce este mai sănătos decât o porție bună de distracție?, atunci când pacientul suferă de depresie sau depresie colectivă din care nu își mai „revine neam” vorba aia.  Călușul Oltenesc este și dansul/cântul meu popular preferat, nu doar pentru că am și rădăcini oltenești (chiar și finii, la Valea Rea lângă Filiași), dar față de mortuarul “Chiparuș” din Vrancea (de unde vin toate cutremurele fatale) sau jelitoarea Doină / Mioriță mie îmi plac lucrurile mai vesele. Și ritmul techno up-beat, viteza drăcească, sincopele imprevizibile … te amețește pur și simplu, nu îl mai poți urmări. Un dans ritualic care se făcea de regulă de Rusalii și av...
