Internal Awakening / Explosion / Ignition

Painting done in Barcelona, 2020 (May)  thinking about 2017 and the feelings of the Romanian society back then - an internal combustion of tremendous force generated by 30 years of high pressure applied by politics and injustice upon the people. It was OUG 13 / 31.01.2017, a bill for many politicians to escape corruption charges, that sparked the protests.

This combustion ignited a collective awakening, similar to an engine start. The 'high' feeling also brought me in emotional shock and I walked 6 hours on foot to Comana monastery only to be sent by an Orthodox Priest to the doctor (psychiatry) for a bipolar disorder diagnosis after just 10 minutes of talking. Then, after 3 years and 5 doctors, with my wife Alis (biologist working her PhD in nanomedicine for cancer treatment in Barcelona) we tackled down both the pill-based treatment and after that, the subjective diagnosis based on the law (romanian law) and medical definitions. But it was a good experience, showing you the true face of people around you, friends and society. Meeting really interesting and deep-thinking persons. I wrote about the whole experience here, in Romanian language.

Taking this subjective area of medicine down was a very hard task to complete, mainly because of abusive doctors, and friends / family refusing to think anymore outside the box or 'their own grid'. Humans that cannot compile or process new ideas or even ... explain the unexplainable. But butchering everyone with questions can leave them clueless. How can you explain for example the word "miracle", still in the dictionary ? :)  

Miracle : an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.

And what is 'Divine' in a world void of the 'Sacred' ? How can one even explain the existence of God ? Buddhism doesnt even have this concept of God. It is not even considered a religion, but a system of thinking. At the core of their belief is that there is no God, nothing above. Only "Enlightenment" and the "Buddha" that attained 'awakening' at the age of 35 and showing others how to follow their own path and awake themselves also.
